Suara Soirées are a community-focused gathering held monthly at our Sydney studio. The evening is for the Indonesian diaspora, Indonesian-Australians, and the larger community, to explore culture, lineage and identity through dance, movement, music, voice, spoken word, film and storytelling.

Suara Soirées are a safe and supportive space for Suara Youth, Friends of Suara and guest artists to create, explore and experiment. Whether it’s a finished piece, a raw idea or an artistic embryo, Suara Soirées is where it can be shared, nurtured and grown.

Funds go towards supporting Suara Indonesia Dance’s educational, outreach and community initiatives.
